Proper nutrition and exercise are essential in all stages of life and play a vital role in achieving overall happiness, healthy relationships, and wellness. Especially in children, a child's diet plays a crucial role in their growth and development. Children who eat healthy foods have better concentration and academic performance. In adults and seniors, proper nutrition is important in keeping one's body strong and healthy, preventing and lowering the risk of developing chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. We want to deliver our message to as many people as possible, ranging from children to seniors, creating a succinct resource hub that will provide educational material and resources that pertain to healthy and nutritious food choices.
Our Mission
Our mission at Nourish Me Right is to inspire and support children and teens in developing healthy, balanced eating habits that fuel both body and mind. We aim to create a fun, inclusive space where young people can learn about nutrition, explore tasty and wholesome foods, and build a positive relationship with what they eat. Together, We empower each other to make choices that nourish us the right way.
We envision a generation of young people who are confident, informed and empowered to make healthy eating a natural and enjoyable part of their lives. Nourish Me Right strives to create a culture where nutrition is understood, wellness is prioritized, and every body feels supported in their journey towards a healthier future. It involves creating opportunities for people of all ages to learn about the importance of healthy eating and exercise; opportunities that are easy to access, fun to attend, and leave people feeling that they grew in some way or another regarding their lifestyle choices. We hope to expand our reach and provide meaningful lessons and resources to people all across the D.C-Maryland-Virginia area.
